Delivery

Deliveries can only be made to UK mainland addresses.

All deliveries on behalf of Home and Kitchens must be signed for by the person placing the order or their agent, and goods can only be delivered to the address stated on the order.

Most prices quoted on Home and Kitchens web site includes delivery charge to UK mainland addresses. However, larger items like washing machines, dishwashers, refrigeration, cookers and most other large appliances have a separate delivery charge. All delivery charges are clearly stated on checkout. If you wish to order multiple large items then delivery may be reduced, email us or call 0871 223 0113.

We aim for:

Next Day delivery on small kitchen appliances, dehumidifiers, vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners and most other small appliances. Subject to products being in-stock, Orders must be placed before 11am Mon - Fri excluding bank holidays and weekends. We will notify you via email your delivery date if requested.

3-5 Day Delivery on laundry machines, dishwashers, refrigeration, cookers and most other large appliances. Subject to products being in-stock, Orders must be placed before 11am Mon - Fri excluding bank holidays and weekends. We will notify you via email your delivery date if requested.

 

Home and Kitchens will confirm delivery date by e-mail.. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they, or their appointed agent, is available to receive and assist with delivery if required. To assist our Courier with delivery please provide any information you feel may be relevant regarding access to your premises, these include stair, intercom, narrow entry. We cannot be responsible for failure to deliver goods due to lack of information received.

DO NOT SIGN FOR GOODS THAT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN DAMAGED IN TRANSIT. ONCE YOU HAVE SIGNED YOU ARE ACCEPTING ALL RESPONSIBILITY. Please sign ‘UNCHECKED’ if you are unable to see if the product is complete or in perfect condition due to packaging. All discrepancies, damages or faults must be reported within 2 days of receipt.

If an order is cancelled or the delivery address amended after the item has been dispatched, you will be liable for transport costs. This charge will be dependant upon the size and weight of the item.

It is our aim to dispatch all orders for small appliances the next working day from receipt of order and larger appliances within 5 working days, but you will be notified by e-mail. If an item is out of stock when ordering we will inform you of a new delivery date. If this delivery date is not acceptable we will offer you the choice of a similar product or you may cancel the order.
