Since 31st October 2000, UK customers now have the right to cancel their order within a  ‘cooling off period’ which lasts 7 days from the day after accepting delivery.  Cancellation must either be by fax, e-mail or letter to our address listed in Contact page.
You will be issued with a Returns Authorisation Number.  Goods must be returned within 14 days of authorisation being issued otherwise it will become invalid.  Refunds, minus transport costs and inspection charges, will be made within 30 days.  Goods must be returned unused and in the original packaging, all manuals and accessories must be included.  Goods returned ‘as new’ but incomplete/used will not be eligible for refund and will be returned to you at your expense. 

If a product fails on first installation it is deemed ‘dead on arrival’.  Please e-mail customersupport@homeandkitchens.co.uk within 7 days of receipt Always refer to your instruction manual before contacting us as if the fault is proved to be user/installation  error you are eligible for any costs incurred.  You will be issued with a Returns Authorisation Number and collection will be arranged. 

When an engineer has confirmed the fault you will be offered:

  • A replacement – delivered at our expense.
  • A repair – the item will be returned to you at our expense, once repaired the item
    is no longer eligible for replacement.
  • A full refund – once item is confirmed faulty and complete with all original packaging, manuals and accessories.

If the product, on inspection, is not deemed faulty you will be offered:

  • Return of goods at your expense plus all costs incurred including engineer’s expenses and transport costs.
  • Refund of invoice cost, less costs incurred, provided the item is in original box/packaging and complete with manuals, accessories, etc.

Any damages to goods must be noted on delivery notes. It is the responsibility for the customer to inform us, by fax, e-mail or letter, of any shortages or damages within 2 days. We cannot accept liability for goods lost in transit if not notified within 5 days.

Poor performance of goods such as the signal quality or interference cannot be accepted as suitable reasons for the return of goods. Please check components such as batteries, remotes or plugs with manufacturers guidelines found in all instruction books before raising a complaint.
